- Caelus, for all that he's silly, and joking, and always has either a bad gaming joke or gallows humor, is more serious than he looks. His journeys have taught him a lot of things. About capitalism, or that poison works weirdly on him. But in particular, Penacony taught him what it means to lose. And Amphoreus has taught him, oh so well, that journeys don't have to have a good ending.

Patch 3.4 Spoilers Within:
After the events of the patch, Caelus, pushing his abilities from Fuli's glance and Oronyx to their limits, refused to let go of Phainon and Khaslana's memories. While he naturally wasn't able to hold onto all of them, there is enough that Caelus is very deeply haunted, in a literal way. At times, Caelus can and will act like Phainon, or rather, take Phainon's role in order to... keep him alive?
Caelus has very little life experience and he is figuring out this level of grief as he goes along, okay? He's not really sure why he's doing this, truly, only that he made a promise. And it hurts, to not try to bring as much of Phainon with him as he can. - He doesn't really have good boundaries for staying safe for himself, but keeps a good eye out for friends. Rated three times in row most likely to get poisoned in a really obvious to avoid way.
- He IS a jokester though. If he doesn't do at least one silly thing a day, the world is likely ending. Galactic Baseballer forever......!!
